The Cisco NIM-1MFT-T1/E1 is a single-port Multiflex Trunk Voice and WAN Network Interface Module designed for Cisco 4000 Series Integrated Services Routers. It enables flexible T1 and E1 connectivity for both data and packet voice applications, allowing organizations to consolidate WAN and voice services on a single platform.
This module supports clear-channel data and packet voice services, making it ideal for enterprises migrating from legacy TDM infrastructures to modern IP-based networks. With integrated CSU/DSU functionality, drop-and-insert multiplexing, and support for fractional T1/E1 services, the NIM-1MFT-T1/E1 reduces external hardware requirements while improving network efficiency and reliability.
