The Cisco 15454-M-RAMAN-CTP is a high-power counter-propagating Raman amplifier designed for the Cisco ONS 15454 MSTP platform. Operating in the C-band, this module delivers distributed optical amplification directly within the transmission fiber, significantly extending DWDM span reach and improving optical signal-to-noise ratio (OSNR).

Engineered for regional, long-haul, and ultra-long-haul optical networks, the 15454-M-RAMAN-CTP supports up to 96 DWDM channels and provides up to 1W of Raman pump output power. It can be deployed as a standalone counter-propagating Raman amplifier or paired with a co-propagating Raman unit for maximum span extension in demanding network environments.
