The QNAP TL-R1220SEP-RP is an enterprise-grade 12-bay SAS 12Gb/s expansion enclosure designed to increase the storage capacity of your QTS or QuTS hero NAS. With support for up to 3.4PB raw capacity by daisy-chaining up to sixteen units, it is ideal for large-scale archiving, virtualization, surveillance, and multimedia applications.
Equipped with Broadcom® SAS DataBolt™ technology, it consolidates 6Gb/s infrastructure into 12Gb/s performance for faster data transfers without costly hardware upgrades. Its multipath routing ensures high availability and smooth data transmission, while the redundant power supply offers maximum uptime. The hot-swappable 2.5”/3.5” bays support both HDDs and SSDs, giving you flexible storage configurations. The short-depth 2U rackmount design makes it suitable for both standard server racks and compact AV cabinets.
