Description
The QNAP TL-R1620SEP-RP is an enterprise-grade 16-bay SAS 12Gb/s storage expansion enclosure designed to seamlessly extend the capacity of QNAP NAS systems running QTS or QuTS hero. With support for both 2.5" and 3.5" SAS/SATA drives and hot-swappable bays, it offers maximum flexibility for large-scale data storage, backup, virtualization, and archiving needs.
Equipped with Broadcom® SAS DataBolt™ bandwidth optimization, the TL-R1620SEP-RP efficiently consolidates existing 6Gb/s infrastructure into 12Gb/s data streams for faster transfers. Multipath routing ensures uninterrupted system operation, while daisy chaining up to 16 enclosures allows for a staggering 4.6PB raw capacity.
Its short-depth 3U rackmount design makes it ideal for both data centers and AV cabinets, and redundant power supplies safeguard uptime for mission-critical environments. Achieve up to 96Gb/s throughput with link aggregation for high-performance storage expansion.
