The Cisco NCS2K-16-AD-CCOFS= is a high-capacity contentionless add/drop line card designed for the Cisco NCS 2000 Series optical transport platform. It delivers full Colorless, Contentionless, Omnidirectional, and Flex Spectrum (CCOFS) functionality, enabling dynamic and fully programmable ROADM architectures.
This 16-port line card supports scalable DWDM networks by allowing wavelengths to be added or dropped without manual fiber changes, improving network agility and reducing operational complexity. Integrated multicast switching and amplification enable efficient spectrum utilization while supporting multi-degree ROADM configurations.
