Description
The Cisco NIM-2MFT-T1/E1 is a dual-port Multiflex Trunk T1/E1 Network Interface Module designed for Cisco 4000 Series Integrated Services Routers. It enables reliable WAN and packet voice connectivity over T1, fractional T1, E1, and fractional E1 circuits, supporting both data-only and mixed data/voice deployments.
This module integrates CSU/DSU functionality and supports clear-channel data as well as packet voice applications, making it ideal for enterprises migrating from legacy TDM infrastructure to modern IP-based networks. Each port can be independently clocked, allowing flexible service provider connections and simplified network design.
The NIM-2MFT-T1/E1 delivers scalable, space-efficient WAN connectivity for branch offices, service provider edge deployments, and hybrid voice/data environments requiring dependable T1/E1 performance.
