The Edgecore AS7712-32X switch is a high-performance, open-network Top-of-Rack (TOR) or spine switch designed for next-generation data centers. In a compact 1RU form factor, it provides full line-rate Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching across 32 x QSFP28 ports, supporting up to 32 x 40/100GbE, 64 x 50GbE, or 128 x 10/25GbE connections. Powered by the Broadcom Trident II+ chipset and an Intel Atom CPU, it delivers advanced programmability and reliability for large-scale network deployments.
Equipped with dual 48V DC hot-swappable power supplies and 5+1 redundant fan modules in a power-to-port airflow configuration, the AS7712-32X ensures high availability and optimal cooling. The switch includes ONIE for flexible network operating system installations and features front-facing data ports with rear-accessible power and fans for efficient rack serviceability.
