Description
The Edgecore AS7712-32X-O-12V-B (DCS501) is a high-performance Top-of-Rack (TOR) or spine switch designed for modern data centers demanding scalability, flexibility, and energy efficiency.
Featuring 32 QSFP28 ports, it delivers line-rate Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching at 3.2 Tbps, supporting configurations of up to 32×40/100GbE, 64×50GbE, or 128×10/25GbE connections via breakout cables.
Built on the Broadcom BCM56960 Tomahawk switch silicon and powered by an Intel® Atom® C2538 4-core processor, this 1RU platform supports the Open Network Install Environment (ONIE), allowing easy deployment of both open-source and commercial Network Operating Systems (NOS).
This variant includes 12V DC power input and back-to-front airflow, making it an ideal fit for data center environments requiring DC infrastructure and optimized cooling paths.
