The Edgecore AS7712-32X-O-12V-F is a high-performance, open networking Top-of-Rack (ToR) or spine switch designed for hyperscale and enterprise data centers. Delivering 3.2 Tbps switching capacity in a compact 1RU form factor, it supports 32 × QSFP28 ports—each configurable for 100/40 GbE, or breakout to 2 × 50 GbE or 4 × 10/25 GbE connections.

Powered by the Broadcom BCM56960 Tomahawk ASIC and an Intel Atom C2538 4-core CPU, the AS7712-32X ensures carrier-class reliability and performance. Its 12 V DC power input and front-to-back airflow design make it ideal for data centers with strict power and thermal efficiency requirements.
The switch comes pre-loaded with the Open Network Install Environment (ONIE), allowing automated installation of open-source or commercial Network Operating Systems (NOS) such as SONiC, Cumulus Linux, and others.
