Description
The Edgecore AS7712-32X is a high-performance Top-of-Rack (TOR) or spine switch designed for modern data centers demanding flexibility, scalability, and performance. Powered by the Broadcom Tomahawk switch ASIC and an Intel Atom CPU, this open network switch delivers line-rate Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching across all 32 QSFP28 ports. Each port supports multiple configurations—1×40/100GbE, 2×50GbE, or 4×10/25GbE—offering versatile connectivity for both leaf and spine deployments.
Housed in a compact 1RU enclosure with front-to-back airflow, the AS7712-32X features hot-swappable, load-sharing redundant AC power supplies and fan modules for maximum reliability. It is ONIE pre-loaded, supporting a range of network operating systems for flexible software integration in open networking environments.
