Description
The Edgecore AS6712-32X-O-48V-B is a high-performance bare-metal Top-of-Rack (TOR) or spine switch designed for modern data center networks. In a compact 1RU form factor, it delivers line-rate Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching across 32 QSFP+ ports, supporting 32×40GbE or 96×10GbE + 8×40GbE connections.
Built with the Broadcom Trident II switch silicon and powered by an Intel Atom C2538 2.4GHz CPU, it ensures superior throughput with 1.28 Tbps switching capacity and 1.44 Bpps forwarding rate.
This model features dual -48V DC redundant hot-swappable PSUs and power-to-port airflow, making it ideal for deployment in telecom or DC environments with DC power infrastructures.
Pre-loaded with the Open Network Install Environment (ONIE), the AS6712-32X supports installation of leading open-source and commercial network operating systems such as Cumulus Linux, OpenSwitch, PicOS, and Pluribus Netvisor.
