Description
The Edgecore AS6712-32X is a high-performance Top-of-Rack (TOR) or spine switch designed for next-generation data centers.
In a compact 1RU form factor, it delivers line-rate L2/L3 switching across 32 x QSFP+ ports, supporting 32 × 40 GbE or breakout configurations up to 96 × 10 GbE + 8 × 40 GbE.
This bare-metal switch comes pre-loaded with the Open Network Install Environment (ONIE), enabling quick installation of open-source or commercial NOS options like Cumulus Linux®, Open Network Linux, OpenSwitch, PicOS™, Switch Light OS, FlexSwitch, and Netvisor.
Engineered for flexible deployment in cloud and enterprise networks, the AS6712-32X provides redundant, hot-swappable -48 V DC power supplies, 4+1 fan modules with port-to-power airflow, and energy-efficient design optimized for high-density 40 GbE and 10 GbE applications.
