The Cisco NIM-4T is a 4-port synchronous serial WAN Network Interface Module designed for Cisco Integrated Services Routers. It delivers reliable, high-performance serial connectivity for branch offices and WAN aggregation environments. Supporting industry-standard WAN protocols such as HDLC, PPP, and Frame Relay, the NIM-4T enables flexible point-to-point and point-to-multipoint network designs.
Each serial port supports synchronous speeds of up to 8 Mbps, making the module ideal for low- to medium-density WAN deployments.
