The Edgecore AS5812-54T is a high-performance Layer 3 managed switch engineered to meet the scalability, reliability, and efficiency requirements of enterprise and cloud data centers. This 1U rack-mountable switch provides 48 x 1GBase-T ports and 6 x 40G QSFP+ uplinks, offering flexible deployment for both aggregation and Top-of-Rack (ToR) applications.
Powered by the Broadcom Trident II chipset and an Intel Atom C2538 processor, the AS5812-54T delivers advanced Layer 2/3 switching, VXLAN and NVGRE tunneling, and ONIE (Open Network Install Environment) support for open networking. Its dual hot-swappable AC power supplies and 4+1 redundant fan modules ensure optimal uptime, while front-to-back airflow supports efficient cooling in dense rack environments.
