The Edgecore AS5835-54X-O-48V-B is a high-performance open network data-center switch built for top-of-rack or spine-layer deployments. Featuring 48 × 10 GbE SFP+ ports and 6 × 100 GbE QSFP28 uplinks, it delivers 1.08 Tbps of non-blocking switching capacity with advanced Layer 2 and Layer 3 features.
Powered by the Broadcom BCM56771 Trident 3 switch ASIC and an Intel Atom C3558 quad-core CPU, the AS5835-54X-O-48V-B supports VXLAN and NVGRE tunneling for large-scale virtualization. This model includes dual –48 V DC hot-swappable power supplies and 4+1 redundant fans with back-to-front airflow, ensuring reliable operation in demanding environments.
The switch comes pre-loaded with ONIE (Open Network Install Environment), allowing installation of compatible open-source or commercial network operating systems. Ideal for enterprises and cloud data centers, it combines scalability, energy efficiency, and open networking flexibility in a compact 1U rackmount design.
