Description
The Edgecore AS5812-54X-O-12V-F is a high-performance, open network Top-of-Rack (TOR) or spine switch designed for modern enterprise and cloud data centers. Featuring 48 x 10GbE SFP+ ports and 6 x 40GbE QSFP+ uplinks, it delivers full line-rate Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching for a non-blocking, folded-Clos data center fabric.
Built around the Broadcom Trident II+ switch ASIC and powered by an Intel® Atom® C2538 quad-core CPU, the AS5812-54X ensures low latency, high throughput, and hardware-based VXLAN/NVGRE tunneling support. Its 12 VDC power input and front-to-back airflow make it ideal for environments requiring integrated DC power systems and hot/cold aisle alignment.
The switch ships pre-loaded with the Open Network Install Environment (ONIE), supporting a variety of commercial and open-source NOS options for flexible deployment.
