Description
The Edgecore AS5835-54T (O-AC-F-US) is a high-performance, open-network data-center switch designed to meet the demands of enterprise and cloud environments. Powered by a Broadcom Trident III ASIC and an Intel Atom C3558 CPU, it delivers 2.56 Tbps switching capacity and 1 billion packets per second (Bpps) forwarding rate.
This flexible Top-of-Rack (ToR) switch supports 48× 10G RJ-45 ports and 6× 100G QSFP28 uplinks, enabling smooth migration to high-speed server connectivity. It supports VXLAN and NVGRE tunneling in hardware, providing optimal performance for virtualized or cloud-native data centers.
Featuring dual hot-swappable AC power supplies and 4+1 redundant fans, the switch offers front-to-back airflow (port-to-power) for efficient thermal management in hot/cold-aisle deployments. Pre-loaded with ONIE (Open Network Install Environment), the switch is ready for open-source or commercial Network Operating Systems (NOS), ensuring maximum software flexibility and scalability.
