The Edgecore AS7312-54XS is a high-performance Top-of-Rack (TOR) or spine switch designed for next-generation data centers. Powered by the Broadcom Tomahawk ASIC and an Intel Atom C2538 CPU, this 1RU open network switch delivers full line-rate Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching across 48 x 25G SFP28 and 6 x 100G QSFP28 ports. Supporting configurations up to 48 × 10/25 GbE and 6 × 40/100 GbE, it is optimized for scalability and flexibility in cloud and enterprise environments.

With dual hot-swappable, load-sharing AC power supplies, and 5+1 redundant fan modules, the AS7312-54XS ensures high availability and energy-efficient performance. The switch supports ONIE (Open Network Install Environment), allowing users to deploy a network OS of their choice, enabling complete control over the software stack for open networking solutions.
