The Edgecore AS7312-54XS is a high-performance Top-of-Rack (TOR) or spine switch designed for enterprise and cloud data centers demanding high bandwidth and scalability. In a compact 1RU form factor, it delivers line-rate L2 and L3 switching across 54 ports, with 48 × 10/25GbE SFP28 and 6 × 40/100GbE QSFP28 ports, supporting flexible server and uplink connectivity options.
Powered by an Intel Atom C2538 2.4 GHz processor with 16 GB DDR3 RAM and 32 GB flash memory, the AS7312-54XS offers powerful performance and reliability. It comes preloaded with the Open Network Install Environment (ONIE) to support the installation of open-source or commercial Network Operating Systems (NOS), including Open Network Linux and OpenSwitch.
Designed for modern open networking environments, this switch includes hot-swappable, redundant dual AC power supplies, front-to-back airflow, and load-sharing fans for optimized cooling. The AS7312-54XS provides a cost-effective, flexible, and scalable solution for data centers migrating to 25GbE or 100GbE network infrastructures.
