The Cisco SPA-8XCHT1/E1-V2 is a high-density, channelized T1/E1 Shared Port Adapter designed for service provider and enterprise WAN deployments. Delivering eight software-configurable T1 or E1 ports in a compact SPA form factor, this adapter supports channelized, fractional, and clear-channel configurations to meet diverse connectivity requirements.
Built on Cisco’s flexible SPA architecture, the adapter integrates CSU/DSU functionality and supports advanced encapsulation methods such as HDLC, PPP, Frame Relay, and Multilink PPP. It enables efficient aggregation of multiple T1 circuits while maintaining line-rate performance and granular DS0-level control.
Hot-swappable and supporting online insertion and removal (OIR), the SPA-8XCHT1/E1-V2 helps minimize downtime and simplifies maintenance.
