The Advantech EKI-1528-CE is an industrial-grade 8-port serial device server designed to connect legacy RS-232/422/485 equipment—such as PLCs, CNC machines, scales, and scanners—directly to modern TCP/IP Ethernet networks. With dual 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet ports, it provides LAN redundancy for reliable industrial communications.
This device supports multiple operation modes including Virtual COM port redirection, TCP/UDP server and client modes, and peer-to-peer pairing. Built-in 15 kV ESD protection and SNMP network management support make the EKI-1528-CE a dependable solution for automation and remote device monitoring in harsh environments.
