The Advantech EKI-1528I-CE is an industrial-grade 8-port RS-232/422/485 serial device server designed to connect legacy serial equipment directly to modern TCP/IP Ethernet networks. Ideal for applications such as PLCs, CNC machines, scanners, and industrial automation systems, this device delivers reliable serial-to-Ethernet connectivity with advanced management and redundancy features.

With dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, the EKI-1528I-CE supports LAN failover for high network availability. It also offers flexible operation modes including Virtual COM port redirection, TCP/UDP server and client modes, and peer-to-peer communication.
