The Edgecore AS5835-54X is a high-performance, open network data center switch designed to meet the demanding scalability and reliability needs of modern enterprise and cloud environments. Powered by the Broadcom BCM56771 Trident 3 switch silicon and an Intel® Atom® C3558 4-core 2.2GHz processor, the AS5835-54X delivers up to 1.08 Tbps switching capacity and 964.28 Mpps forwarding rate.

Equipped with 48× 10G SFP+ ports and 6× 100G QSFP28 uplinks, this flexible platform supports 1/10/25/100 GbE configurations, allowing deployment as a top-of-rack switch or as part of a non-blocking 40/100 GbE spine architecture. The switch supports VXLAN and NVGRE tunneling in hardware, making it ideal for virtualized data centers.

Featuring hot-swappable dual AC power supplies and 4+1 redundant fan modules, the AS5835-54X ensures continuous availability and simplified maintenance. Pre-loaded with the Open Network Install Environment (ONIE), it allows users to install a preferred open-source or commercial Network Operating System (NOS) with ease.
