Description
The Advantech EKI-7712G-2FV-AE is a rugged, high-performance Layer 2 managed industrial Ethernet switch designed for bandwidth-heavy and long-distance applications. It features 8 Gigabit Ethernet ports, 2 Gigabit SFP uplinks, and 2 VDSL2 ports, allowing Ethernet connectivity to be extended over existing 2-wire cabling—ideal for scenarios where rewiring is not feasible.
With VDSL2 technology, the switch supports transmission distances of up to 3,000 meters over phone lines and 100 Mbps throughput for up to 400 meters over CAT 5e cabling. Equipped with Advantech's IXM fast deployment, it drastically reduces configuration time across multiple devices.
The EKI-7712G-2FV-AE ensures network resiliency with X-Ring Pro redundancy (<20ms recovery), RSTP/MSTP/STP, and comprehensive security features like 802.1x authentication and RADIUS support. Certified for NEMA TS2 and EN50121-4, it is ideal for industrial automation, intelligent transportation, and railway environments.
