Combining the resilience of Smart Out-of-Band (SmartOOB™) with advanced NetOps automation capabilities, the OM1208-8E delivers reliable network management, monitoring, and automation at branch sites, data centers, and remote locations.
With 8 RJ45 RS232 serial ports, 8 Gigabit Ethernet switch ports, and 2 SFP fiber ports, the OM1208-8E offers flexible connectivity in a half-width 1RU form factor. It is built on a robust x86 platform with 4GB DRAM and 16GB internal storage, supporting Python runtime, Docker containers, and REST API for scalable automation.
The OM1208-8E integrates seamlessly with Opengear Lighthouse Management Software, providing Presence & Proximity at every location while ensuring network uptime through intelligent monitoring, embedded security, and out-of-band access.
