The AddOn Ciena® XCVR-S80U55-C Compatible TAA 10GBase-BX SFP+ Transceiver is a high-performance optical module designed to deliver reliable, long-distance data transmission for modern network infrastructures. Engineered for seamless compatibility with Ciena® equipment, this SFP+ transceiver provides 10GBase-BX throughput up to 80 km over single-mode fiber (SMF) using a 1550 nm transmit and 1490 nm receive wavelength via a simplex LC connector.
Built to meet rigorous SFF-8432 and SFF-8472 standards, it features a temperature-stabilized EML transmitter and APD receiver for enhanced optical performance, along with digital optical monitoring (DOM) for real-time diagnostics. The transceiver is hot-pluggable, RoHS compliant, and Trade Agreements Act (TAA) compliant, ensuring suitability for government and enterprise networks. Each unit is programmed, uniquely serialized, and thoroughly application-tested to guarantee 100% compatibility and consistent performance.
