Description

The AddOn WSP-Q40GLR4L-AO is a Cisco® WSP-Q40GLR4L compatible 40GBase-IR4 QSFP+ optical transceiver designed to deliver high-performance, reliable connectivity for modern data center, enterprise, and access networks. Supporting data rates of up to 40 Gbps and transmission distances of up to 2 km over single-mode fiber (SMF), this module operates within a wavelength range of 1270nm to 1330nm and uses a duplex LC connector for straightforward deployment.

Engineered for seamless interoperability with Cisco® infrastructure, this hot-swappable transceiver has been programmed, serialized, and rigorously tested to ensure identical initialization and performance to OEM parts. Integrated Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) provides real-time diagnostics of key parameters such as temperature, voltage, and optical power levels.

Compliant with SFF-8436, RoHS, and TAA standards, the WSP-Q40GLR4L-AO is built with robust ESD protection, metal housing for low EMI, and a commercial operating temperature range (0 °C to 70 °C). Backed by AddOn’s limited lifetime warranty, it’s an ideal solution for upgrading or expanding high-speed 40G networks with confidence and cost-efficiency.
