The AddOn QSFP-40GB-ZR4-AO is a high-performance, MSA-compliant QSFP+ optical transceiver that delivers reliable 40GBase-ZR4 Ethernet connectivity over distances of up to 80 km using single-mode fiber (SMF). Operating across wavelengths from 1295 nm to 1309 nm and featuring a duplex LC connector, this module is designed for demanding enterprise and access-layer networks that require long-reach, high-bandwidth data transmission.

Built to meet or exceed industry standards, the transceiver incorporates 4 cooled 10.3125 Gbps LAN-WDM EML transmit channels and SOA-PIN photodetectors to ensure superior optical performance. It supports Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) for real-time diagnostics and is Trade Agreements Act (TAA) compliant, guaranteeing seamless integration into government and enterprise environments. Each unit is uniquely serialized, rigorously tested for data-traffic performance, and backed by AddOn’s limited lifetime warranty for peace of mind and long-term reliability.
