Description

The AddOn QSFP28-OTU4-ER4L-AO is a high-performance dual-rate optical transceiver designed for 100GBASE-ER4 and OTU4 applications over single-mode fiber (SMF). Operating across a wavelength range of 1295nm to 1309nm, this module delivers reliable connectivity up to 40km with host FEC enabled (30km without FEC) via a duplex LC connector. It supports aggregate data rates of 103.1Gb/s and 112Gb/s with a 4x25G electrical interface, ensuring seamless integration into modern high-speed networks.

Built to meet QSFP28 MSA, IEEE 802.3ba, and IEEE 802.3bm standards, this transceiver features a cooled 4x25Gb/s LAN WDM DML TOSA transmitter and a 4x25Gb/s APD ROSA receiver for superior optical performance. Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) provides real-time diagnostics, while low power dissipation (<4.5W) and a single 3.3V power supply enhance energy efficiency. TAA compliance and a Class 1 laser safety certification make it ideal for government, enterprise, and carrier-grade deployments.

Our Process

From Scope to Sign-Off

A structured delivery process designed to reduce risk and keep projects moving.

01

Plan

Discovery, site review, requirements gathering, and project alignment. We define scope, constraints, and success criteria before any design work begins.

  • Discovery calls & stakeholder interviews
  • On-site survey & infrastructure review
  • Requirements & use-case documentation
  • Project scope, timeline & milestone alignment
02

Engineer

System design, schematics, signal flow, BOM development, and documentation. Every project leaves this phase with a complete engineering package.

  • AV system design & signal flow diagrams
  • Equipment selection & BOM development
  • Rack layout & control system design
  • As-built documentation package
03

Deploy

Procurement, logistics, installation, programming, commissioning, and training. We own the delivery from first shipment to final handoff.

  • Authorized procurement & logistics coordination
  • Physical installation & cable management
  • Control system programming & configuration
  • Commissioning, testing & end-user training
04
