Description

The AMD EPYC™ 9645 is a high-performance EPYC 9005 Series server processor designed for demanding enterprise, cloud, AI-enabled, and business-critical data center workloads. Featuring 96 CPU cores and 192 threads, the EPYC 9645 delivers substantial compute density with a 2.3 GHz base clock, up to 3.7 GHz max boost clock, and 256 MB of L3 cache.

Built for the AMD SP5 platform, this processor supports both 1P and 2P server configurations and provides extensive system connectivity through 128 lanes of PCIe® 5.0. Its 12-channel DDR5 memory architecture, supporting speeds up to 6400 MT/s and up to 614 GB/s of memory bandwidth per socket, helps address memory-intensive enterprise and data center applications.

With a 320W default TDP and configurable TDP range of 320W to 400W, the AMD EPYC 9645 offers flexibility for server platforms balancing performance, power, and thermal requirements. Support for AMD Infinity Guard and AMD Infinity Architecture further strengthens its suitability for modern enterprise infrastructure.
