The AMD Ryzen 5 5500 desktop processor delivers responsive performance for gaming, productivity, and everyday computing. Built on AMD’s Zen 3 architecture and 7nm process technology, it features 6 cores and 12 threads, a 3.60GHz base clock, and boost speeds of up to 4.20GHz.

Designed for the Socket AM4 platform, the Ryzen 5 5500 supports dual-channel DDR4 memory at speeds up to 3200MHz and PCI Express 3.0 connectivity. It includes 3MB of L2 cache and 16MB of L3 cache and operates at a 65W thermal design power for an efficient balance of performance and power consumption.

This MPK/tray configuration is supplied in non-retail packaging and includes a CPU cooler. The processor does not feature integrated graphics, so a discrete graphics card is required for display output.
