With a 3.2 GHz base clock and boost speeds of up to 5.1 GHz, the 7985WX delivers exceptional multi-threaded performance for rendering, engineering, simulation, AI development, content creation, and other compute-intensive applications.

Designed for the sTR5 platform, this processor supports PCIe 5.0, eight-channel DDR5 RDIMM memory, and ECC for high-performance professional workstation configurations. Its massive 256 MB L3 cache helps accelerate data-intensive workloads, while AMD PRO technologies provide enterprise-focused manageability and security capabilities.

Built using TSMC 5nm FinFET technology, the Ryzen Threadripper PRO 7985WX combines high core density with advanced performance features including Precision Boost 2, Precision Boost Overdrive, AMD EXPO technology, and support for modern instruction sets such as AVX2 and AVX-512.
