Description
The AddOn Arista Networks® OSFP-400G-PLR4-AO is a high-performance, TAA-compliant 400GBase-PLR4 OSFP transceiver designed for ultra-high-speed data center, cloud, and enterprise networking applications. Delivering up to 400Gbps throughput over single-mode fiber (SMF) at distances of up to 10km, this transceiver operates on a 1310nm wavelength and uses an MPO-12 connector for efficient, high-density connectivity.
Engineered to meet or exceed OEM specifications, this transceiver is fully compliant with OSFP MSA and IEEE 802.3bs 400GAUI-8 standards. It features an 8×53.125Gbps PAM4 electrical interface and supports CMIS 4.0 or later for seamless interoperability and advanced management. Hot-pluggable and built with a low-EMI metal housing, it offers robust performance across a commercial temperature range of 0°C to 70°C.
Each unit is programmed, uniquely serialized, and extensively tested for data traffic and application compatibility, ensuring identical initialization and performance to the original Arista Networks® modules. With support for Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM), network operators can access real-time operating data for enhanced visibility and diagnostics.
