The HPE Aruba Networking AP‑587EX (RW) is a ruggedized, high-performance outdoor access point designed for hazardous environments such as oil rigs, industrial plants, and transportation hubs. Part of the AP-580EX Series, it supports Wi-Fi 6 with a dual-radio 4x4 MIMO configuration and delivers blazing aggregate data rates of up to 2.97 Gbps.
With built-in directional antennas (H, V, and ±45° polarized), the AP-587EX offers focused, high-gain signal coverage and is certified for Class 1 Division 2 and ATEX Zone 2 deployment. Equipped with high-power Bluetooth and 802.15.4/Zigbee radios, it enables seamless Industrial IoT integration. The device features IP66 environmental protection, industrial surge resistance, and advanced RF optimization tools like AirMatch and ClientMatch.
