Description

The Edgecore AS4630-54PE (EPS202) is a high-performance Gigabit Ethernet Layer 3 switch designed for enterprise and data center environments. It features 48 x 10/100/1000BASE-T ports with full IEEE 802.3at/bt Power-over-Ethernet (PoE++) support, providing up to 90W per port to power devices such as wireless access points, IP cameras, and VoIP phones. In addition, the switch includes 4 x 25G SFP28 uplink ports and 2 x 100G QSFP28 stacking ports, delivering scalability and flexibility for top-of-rack or campus aggregation applications.

Powered by an Intel Atom C3558 4-core 2.2GHz processor and Broadcom Trident III ASIC, the AS4630-54PE delivers full line-rate Layer 2/3 switching with 960 Gbps switching capacity and 744 Mpps forwarding rate. It comes with dual hot-swappable AC power supplies and port-to-power airflow, ensuring high availability and efficient cooling.

Pre-loaded with the Open Network Install Environment (ONIE), the AS4630-54PE enables users to deploy a choice of open-source or commercial Network Operating Systems (NOS), providing a flexible and future-ready open networking platform for modern enterprise, hospitality, and industrial networks.
