The Edgecore AS5912-54X is a high-performance Top-of-Rack or spine switch designed for modern cloud data centers and carrier networks. Delivering 2.1 Tbps full-duplex switching capacity, it provides 48 x 10 GbE SFP+ ports and 6 x 100 GbE QSFP28 uplinks, ensuring flexible, high-bandwidth connectivity across the network fabric.

Equipped with redundant, hot-swappable AC power supplies and 5+1 redundant fans, the AS5912-54X guarantees high availability and reliability for mission-critical environments. Its Intel Rangeley C2538 processor and Broadcom Qumran-MX BCM88370 switching silicon deliver enterprise-grade Layer 2 and Layer 3 forwarding, with support for MPLS, VXLAN, and expandable packet buffering for carrier-grade performance.

Pre-loaded with ONIE (Open Network Install Environment), the AS5912-54X supports both open-source and commercial Network Operating Systems (NOS) such as Open Network Linux (ONL) and OcNOS, giving users flexibility to build open, programmable networks with complete control.
