The Edgecore AS5915-16X-O-AC-PC is a compact, temperature-hardened open cell site gateway platform built for modern mobile network environments. Featuring 4 × 10G SFP+, 8 × 1G SFP, and 4 × RJ-45 ports, this router delivers full line-rate Layer 2 and Layer 3 forwarding performance up to 32 Gbps using Broadcom’s Qumran-UX switching silicon and an Intel® Atom® C3308 dual-core processor.
Designed for LTE and 5G backhaul applications, the AS5915-16X provides high-availability networking with redundant dual AC power supplies and a passively cooled design that eliminates internal fans for silent, reliable operation. It supports IEEE 1588v2 and SyncE for precise network synchronization and includes built-in timing interfaces (1 PPS, 10 MHz, TOD). The platform comes pre-loaded with ONIE (Open Network Install Environment), allowing flexible deployment with the user’s preferred Network Operating System such as Open Network Linux (ONL).
