Description

The Edgecore AS5915-16X-O-48V-PC is a compact, temperature-hardened cell site router designed for LTE and 5G mobile backhaul applications. Built on Broadcom’s Qumran-UX switch silicon and powered by an Intel® Atom C3308 dual-core processor, it delivers robust Layer 2 and Layer 3 forwarding with a switching capacity of 32 Gbps and packet throughput of 125 Mpps.

This model features 4 x 10G SFP+, 8 x 1G SFP, and 4 x 1G RJ-45 ports, supporting both Ethernet and timing synchronization (IEEE 1588v2 and SyncE). It includes redundant dual 48VDC power supplies, operates passively cooled without internal fans, and performs reliably across an extreme temperature range from –40°C to +65°C.

Preloaded with ONIE (Open Network Install Environment), the AS5915-16X-O-48V-PC provides flexibility to install various open network operating systems (including Open Network Linux), making it ideal for disaggregated cell site gateways, edge computing, and mission-critical telecom environments.
