The Edgecore AS7535-28XB-O-AC-F-US (CSR440) is an open disaggregated cell site gateway platform designed for modern service provider access and aggregation networks. Built on Broadcom’s Qumran-2A silicon and powered by an Intel® Xeon® D-1539 8-core processor, it provides high-performance, temperature-hardened operation for LTE and emerging 5G xHaul environments.

This carrier-grade router offers 24 × 25G SFP28, 2 × 100G QSFP28, and 2 × 400G QSFP-DD ports, supporting IEEE 1588v2, SyncE, and TSN (IEEE 802.1CM) timing functions for precise synchronization. With a ruggedized -40 °C to 65 °C operating range, hot-swappable dual AC power supplies, and 5 + 1 redundant fan modules, the AS7535-28XB ensures uninterrupted performance and simplified maintenance in mission-critical deployments.

Pre-loaded with ONIE (Open Network Install Environment), it offers operators the flexibility to install their preferred Network Operating System (NOS) for open networking solutions across fronthaul, midhaul, and backhaul architectures.
