Description

Powered by the Broadcom Tomahawk 4 switch ASIC, the AS9736-64D offers 25.6 Tbps switching capacity and 7.88 billion packets per second (Bpps) forwarding rate. Its 64 Γ— QSFP56-DD ports support a variety of interface options β€” from 10 GbE up to 400 GbE β€” via breakout cables for maximum deployment versatility.

This 2RU platform features an Intel Xeon D-1548 8-core CPU, 32 GB DDR4 memory, and 128 GB M.2 SSD, pre-loaded with the Open Network Install Environment (ONIE) for easy installation of open-source or commercial NOS options such as Open Network Linux (ONL) or Enterprise SONiC by Edgecore.

Engineered for high reliability, the AS9736-64D includes dual hot-swappable 2400 W AC/HVDC power supplies, 3 + 1 redundant fan modules, and front-to-rear airflow support for optimal cooling in modern data centers.

Ideal for spine-to-spine or spine-to-leaf interconnects, the Edgecore AS9736-64D delivers scalability, openness, and efficiency for demanding 400 GbE network environments.
