The Cisco A900-IMA8Z= is an 8-port 10 Gigabit Ethernet SFP+ interface module designed for Cisco ASR 900 Series routers. It delivers high-density 10GE connectivity with flexible LAN and WAN PHY support, making it ideal for metro Ethernet aggregation, service provider access networks, and enterprise edge deployments.
Each port supports pluggable SFP+ optics, allowing customization for short-, long-, or extended-reach applications. The module is hardware-ready to support 1 Gigabit Ethernet operation per group of four ports (software-enabled), enabling smooth network scaling and migration.
