Description
The BSS BSSBLU160M-US Soundweb London BLU-160 is a powerful, open-architecture digital signal processor designed for high-performance installed audio systems. Featuring configurable I/O, flexible signal processing, and a high-bandwidth BLU Link digital audio bus, the BLU-160 delivers scalable system design for commercial, corporate, hospitality, transportation, and life-safety applications.
Engineered with EN 54-16 compliance capabilities, the BLU-160 supports mission-critical audio systems where reliability and fault tolerance are essential. Its 256-channel, low-latency BLU Link digital audio bus operates over standard Category 5e cabling with up to 100 meters between devices, and distances exceeding 40 km when using fiber optic media converters.
The processor is fully configurable using HiQnet™ London Architect software, offering a rich palette of signal processing and logic objects in an intuitive drag-and-drop environment. Four modular I/O card slots allow tailored system design using analog, digital, AEC, or telephone hybrid cards—each supporting four channels per card.
Front panel LEDs provide instant visual feedback for Phantom Power, Sync, Signal Presence, and Clip status without requiring a PC. The integrated LCD display offers device identification details including IP address, firmware version, and device name. With 12 control inputs and 6 logic outputs, the BLU-160 easily integrates with third-party control and GPIO systems, making it a versatile foundation for complex audio installations.
