Description
The BSS Soundweb London BLU-160 (BSSBLU160MXV40) is a fully configurable networked signal processor designed for high-performance audio systems requiring flexible I/O, powerful DSP, and a fault-tolerant digital audio backbone. Built on an open architecture platform and configurable through HiQnet™ London Architect, the BLU-160 provides a scalable and customizable processing environment suitable for installed sound applications across corporate, hospitality, performance venues, education, and large-scale commercial systems.
Featuring a 256-channel, low-latency, fault-tolerant digital audio bus over standard Category 5e cabling, the BLU-160 supports up to 100m between devices (expandable via fiber converters). Four configurable card slots allow integration of analog or digital inputs and outputs in banks of four, supporting AES/EBU and S/PDIF formats alongside high-quality analog audio with selectable phantom power.
The processor includes extensive GPIO integration with 12 control inputs and 6 logic outputs, making it ideal for third-party control system integration. Clear front-panel LED indicators and an informative LCD display provide real-time device and signal status without requiring a connected PC.
The BLU-160 serves as a powerful building block within the Soundweb London ecosystem, delivering reliable, flexible, and scalable DSP-based system design.
