Description

The AddOn SFP-16GB-DW35-40-BR-AO is a Brocade® compatible 16GBase-DWDM SFP+ Fibre Channel transceiver designed for high-performance data transmission over single-mode fiber (SMF) at distances up to 40 km. Operating on the DW35 ITU-T 100GHz channel (1549.32 nm), this transceiver delivers up to 16 Gbps throughput and supports applications including 8x/10x Fibre Channel, 16G Ethernet over DWDM, and enterprise, metro, and access networks.

Engineered for seamless integration, this hot-swappable, easy-to-install transceiver is programmed and tested to guarantee full interoperability with Brocade® equipment. It features a cooled EML transmitter, PIN receiver, and Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) for real-time diagnostics of key operating parameters.

This TAA-compliant module offers excellent ESD protection, a metal enclosure for reduced EMI, and meets industry standards SFF-8432 and SFF-8472. Backed by AddOn’s rigorous testing and limited lifetime warranty, it’s a reliable choice for mission-critical DWDM networking environments.
