Description
The AddOn SFP-16GB-DW28-40-BR-AO is a Brocade® compatible 16GBase-DWDM Fibre Channel SFP+ transceiver designed for high-performance, long-distance data transmission over single-mode fiber (SMF) up to 40 km. Operating on ITU Channel DW28 at a center wavelength of 1554.94nm with a 100GHz spacing, this TAA-compliant module supports 16G Fibre Channel and 16x Gigabit Ethernet applications in access, metro, and enterprise networks.
Built with a cooled EML transmitter and PIN receiver, the transceiver ensures reliable optical performance and superior signal integrity. It features a duplex LC connector, hot-swappable design, and full Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) support for real-time performance diagnostics. Each unit is uniquely serialized, rigorously tested for compatibility, and guaranteed to function identically to the OEM equivalent — backed by AddOn’s limited lifetime warranty.
