Description
The AddOn SFP-16GB-DW43-40-BR-AO is a Brocade® (formerly) compatible 16GBase-DWDM Fibre Channel SFP+ transceiver designed for high-performance, long-distance optical networking. It delivers reliable data transmission up to 40 km over single-mode fiber (SMF) using a 1542.94 nm wavelength (ITU Channel DW43, 100 GHz grid) via a duplex LC connector.
Built with a cooled EML transmitter and PIN receiver, this hot-pluggable module fully complies with SFF-8432 and SFF-8472 standards and features Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) for real-time performance tracking. It is ideal for 8G/10G Fibre Channel, 16G Ethernet, and DWDM metro, access, and enterprise applications.
Each unit is programmed, serialized, and rigorously tested for guaranteed 100% compatibility and seamless operation with equivalent Brocade® hardware.
