Description
The AddOn SFP-16GB-DW23-40-BR-AO is a Brocade® (formerly) compatible 16GBase-DWDM Fibre Channel SFP+ transceiver designed to deliver reliable high-speed data transmission for enterprise, metro, and access networks. Operating over single-mode fiber (SMF) with a center wavelength of 1558.98nm (ITU Channel DW23), this transceiver supports data rates up to 16Gbps and extends reach up to 40km.
Engineered for seamless integration, it offers hot-swappable functionality and digital optical monitoring (DOM) for real-time diagnostics, ensuring network stability and easy maintenance. Built to meet SFF-8432 and SFF-8472 standards, it features a cooled EML transmitter, PIN receiver, and duplex LC connector, all while maintaining excellent EMI shielding and ESD protection.
