The AddOn Brocade® Compatible SFP-16GB-DW22-40-BR-AO is a high-performance 16GBase-DWDM Fibre Channel SFP+ transceiver designed for reliable, long-distance optical networking. Operating on the ITU-T Channel DW22 with a center wavelength of 1559.79nm, this transceiver delivers up to 16Gbps data throughput across distances of up to 40km over single-mode fiber (SMF). It features a cooled EML transmitter and PIN receiver for superior optical performance, a duplex LC connector, and full Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) support for real-time diagnostics. Compliant with SFF-8432 and SFF-8472 standards, this hot-swappable module is fully TAA-compliant and engineered for seamless interoperability with Brocade® networking equipment. It is ideal for applications such as 8x/10x Fibre Channel, 16x Gigabit Ethernet over DWDM, and deployment in metro, access, and enterprise networks.
