Description
The AddOn Brocade® SFP-16GB-DW21-40-BR-AO is a high-performance, hot-swappable 16GBase-DWDM Fibre Channel SFP+ transceiver designed to deliver reliable long-distance optical connectivity for enterprise, metro, and access network applications. Operating on a 1560.61 nm wavelength (ITU-T Channel DW21) over single-mode fiber (SMF), it supports data rates up to 14.025 Gbps and extends transmission distances up to 40 km.
This transceiver is fully MSA-compliant, RoHS-compliant, and TAA-compliant, ensuring compatibility with government and enterprise deployments. It features digital optical monitoring (DOM) for real-time performance insights and a duplex LC connector for easy integration. Built with a cooled EML transmitter and PIN receiver, it guarantees stable operation across a commercial temperature range of 0 °C to 70 °C.
