Description
The AddOn SFP-16GB-DW20-40-BR-AO is a Brocade®-compatible SFP+ transceiver designed to deliver high-performance 16GBase-DWDM Fibre Channel connectivity over single-mode fiber (SMF) up to 40 km. Operating at a 1561.42 nm wavelength on ITU-T Channel DW20 with a 100 GHz channel spacing, this hot-swappable module ensures seamless integration into existing Fibre Channel and DWDM network environments.
Engineered for reliability and efficiency, it features a cooled EML transmitter, PIN receiver, and a duplex LC connector. The transceiver supports Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) for real-time performance diagnostics and meets SFF-8432 and SFF-8472 standards. It is fully compliant with the Trade Agreements Act (TAA), RoHS 2.0, and key EMI/ESD standards, making it ideal for data center, metro, and enterprise applications where long-reach, high-bandwidth Fibre Channel links are critical.
